Catching Fire

Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge.

I think there was epic music playing the entire time I was reading this. Seriously. An epic book requires epic music. ;)
Anyway.....PEETA AND KATNISS FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!
But, anyway, Collins has done it yet again with her amazing storytelling. My grandmother's halfway through it right now (seriously, she actually BOUGHT the first book and stayed up until 1 AM reading it. Its nice to be able to talk to someone about books AND they actually know what you're talking about.
I didn't particularly like the ending, though. I'm not too keen on the fact of.......whoops. Spoiler! Sorry. Not going to tell you ANYTHING!!!! Because it would be best if you read it. So that you can be just as surprised as I was. Seriously. My mouth dropped open and I freaked out when I read the last line. I couldn't believe that- whoops. Another spoiler. Can't have that, now can we?
But, anyway Mockingjay came out this week, so I'm going to get my paws on it ASAP. It looks soooooooooooo good.
(PEETA!!!!!!!!!)
